Memory is the term given to the structures and processes in our brains involved in the storage and subsequent retrieval of information – and it’s essential to our lives.

However, there are many reasons that our memory may not seem what it was before. Issues may be observed after stroke, brain injury, or a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, or Mild Cognitive Impairment, or even as a result of normal aging. And while it can be very frustrating, there are some science-based strategies that can help improve memory.
